People's Question Time

Summary: People's Question Time
is a meeting that gives Londoners the chance to ask the Mayor and the
London Assembly about their plans, priorities and policies for London.
It is held twice a year, normally in March and October. Admittance is
free, but you should request tickets in advance. Read

Summary: East is a six-day festival that celebrates
the uniquely rich creative mix of East London. It will feature
around 100 events across East London inspired by the themes of architecture,

St Patrick's Day
Date: 14th
Location: Central London
Summary:
London's annual parade and festival to celebrate St Patrick's Day takes
place on Sunday 14th March 2010, and involves community groups, marching
bands, schools, sports groups and others. This free family day out is
a fun way to experience all things Irish. Read

C40 Cities Waste Workshop
Date: 22-24 March
Location: City Hall
Summary: London is hosting the next C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group
event - a three-day workshop exploring how changes to solid waste management
systems can help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and tackle climate
change. Delegates from cities all over the world will be able to share
experiences and learn from others on a range of topics including zero
waste, social-economic issues in recycling, low-carbon waste collection
and transportation, waste as a resource, waste treatment technologies
and funding mechanisms available to finance implementation of waste management
solutions. Attendance is by invitation only. For more information please
