Minor alteration to the consultation draft Replacement London Plan

Borough level waste arisings and apportionments, and corrections and clarifications

On 7 December 2009 the Mayor launched an eight week public consultation on a Minor Alteration to the consultation draft Replacement London Plan.  This deals with  borough-level waste arisings and apportionments, and corrections and clarifications. The consultation closed on 1 February 2010.

In the consultation draft Replacement London Plan (issued 12 October 2009), the Mayor gave a commitment (in paragraph 5.77) to publish for public consultation later in 2009 new projected borough-level arisings and apportionments of municipal sold waste and commercial/ industrial waste, so that waste arisings and apportionments can be considered at next summer's examination in public into the Replacement London Plan.

The Minor Alteration gives this promised borough-level waste data. In order to assist consultees, the Mayor has also taken the opportunity to issue as part of the Minor Alteration some corrections and clarifications to the text of the consultation draft Replacement London Plan.
