Publications in translation

We will respond promptly to translation requests made by Londoners.

Summaries of key documents are often produced and can be made available on request in the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Greek, Gujurati, Hindi, Punjabi, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese. Requests for translations into other languages are considered on a case-by-case basis.

If translations of other Mayoral publications are requested, we may use the services of an interpreter to clarify the extent of the translation of the document required. We reserve the right to decide whether a request for a translation should be met by public funds, or whether a charge should be made to cover costs.

Translations are normally made available free of charge only to residents of London.
